The department of GI, GI Onco and HPB Surgery  deals with the diseases of oesophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, rectum and canal, liver, gall bladder, pancreas and bile duct. The department is well equipped with high end laparoscopic instruments including state of the art energy sources like harmonic scalpel and ligasure.The deparment has state of the art equipment (CUSA) for liver resections.
